Our new botanical design for fall, Heirloom Pumpkins, was inspired by a quintessential autumn activity that is on all of our seasonal to-do lists: visit the pumpkin patch. This new pattern, like the patch itself, features curling vines, green leaves, little blooms, and pumpkins peeking out amidst it all. However, when we sat the table to include this design we wanted to make our pumpkins prominent; so, we created an eye-catching pumpkin table runner that brings the pumpkin patch home.
As we are just saying, “so long” to summer, we hesitated to dive head-first into the deep hues of fall. Instead, we chose to keep our palette natural and neutral, but warm, with ivories, taupes, and just a hint of pumpkin orange.
Painterly Pumpkins
Drawing from the painterly style of our Heirloom print, we painted our assortment of pumpkins in matte colors ranging from white to soft black. Plus, we left a few in their natural orange state.

Style Tip: Set your place settings before your pumpkins so you can widen your runner to fill the spaces in between.
